Christa gets organized

One of my new years resolutions was to get and use a proper calendar/planner. I’ve never been one for calendars, since I went on mat leave with Juno I have not kept one at all. Well, I have a weekly chalkboard calendar on my wall, but I rarely remember to use it. Mostly I’ve been trying to store everything away safely in my poor little brain. Only, it hasn’t been so safe. I forget a lot of things.
Until now…

(it wasn’t really 37.00. When you buy a calendar in the middle of March you get a great deal! 🙂 )

As I was dumping my brain of dates and times and birthdays and events and future vacations (yay!), I could feel myself getting lighter. I feel the same way when we declutter the house, like I can suddenly breathe and think and relax. I’m so excited about this planner and being more mentally organized.

Yay! I love diaries! I use mine all the time! I think it comes with my obsession with making lists. Funnily enough I’m doing a shopping list now 🙂

did Jon put you up to suggesting that? I can’t do the electronic calendar thing, I need paper. I know it doesn’t make sense, I’m just old.

Nope…whenever I try paper calendars I cN never keep them updated because I never take them places. Phone goes everywhere.
