sick sick sick sick

My poor baby has gotten one nasty flu bug. She seems to be starting to come around, but that is after days of mild fevers and irritability, followed by 14 or so hours of throwing up and high fevers. I’ve seen her plenty sick before, but never anything like this.
The one highlight of her weekend was when Aunt Cherise brought her a pooh bear…

We had a pox party this past week so we are anticipating that to hit at some point, and the closer it crept to bedtime tonight the rosier cheeked and warmer Rusty became. I think all the winter illnesses we skipped this year have finally arrived in Sodemanland…

I think we’ll spend the rest of March in hibernation.

Quite a lot of vomit we’ve been having here lately.

The kids have been so good!

I’m glad she liked the bear. When they’re feeling better we can hibernate together since we have the same cooties! :)

I took her to the dr this morning because she got worse again fast (throwing up etc) and he thought its the chicken pox coming right on the heels of her flu. That’s only a 5 day incubation though? Seems fast!
