Oh man your little Junie makes me LAUGH. I always asked the “wrong” questions too growing up. I have good company, but it may make you fear for her future – kind of like how my ability to completely zone out of a conversation when a dog is near, never went away).

I don’t even know how to begin a response to this beautiful love letter of friendship…. I feel both so humbled and the smallest bit unworthy.

Your description of the beginning of our story of friendship is so true. You were the hardest to get to know, but like all the best things in life, it was so worth waiting for. What a kindred spirit I have found in you. Your friendship and sisterhood means so much more than words could say. I love that we will literally be both of those things for eternity – friends and sisters. That late night talk at your house, and the reflection of myself and my expectations of friendship I found in you, will be a treasured memory for the rest of my life. I look forward to so many more years of the intimacy of being friends, and building many more memories.

This is the most beautiful gift I have ever been given, the gift of words from the bottom of a beloved friends heart. I, like you, am profoundly moved by written words, especially those with depth of meaning and sincerity.
