No brilliant blog posts up in here today. So I’ll improvise with some random photos from the weekend and my latest monday resolution…
First order of business… resolution. I didn’t have one last week (gasp!), must have taken me some time getting over the good wife debacle. 🙂 But this week my resolution is to exercise 5 days in a row. Today I found myself grinning like an idiot while sweating it out ON THE TREADMILL… which can only mean I was watching Gilmore Girls at the same time. Now that I’ve finally attempted to start exercising, my trusty (albeit dusty), treadmill has suddenly started showing an error code and shutting itself off. Figures! My expert avoiding the problem skills (seriously, I’ve honed these skills for years) have discovered that if I shut the beast off and unplug it, then restart- it magically works again for awhile longer. Hoping to keep this up until I’m skinny or it magically fixes itself (Jon). So yes… 5 whole days of exercising… and lots of treadmill restarts… here I come! I’m sure I’ll be smoking hot by the time I need to wear shorts (Ecuador… in 12 DAYS!!!!) Right? Right? Sigh.
And now for the photos…
I was a arranging/directing/critiquing/sit back on my tush and watching machine:
I have over 65 picture frames. (not including collage frames with more than one photo) About half of them went up this weekend, I have no clue how I fit so many pictures in our little semi.
Yes, we have a flagpole. LOVE.
My daughter buried a teddybear in the snow yesterday and forgot where she hid it. We were out searching in the pitch black and first thing this morning in our jammies. Still no sign of him. Good thing it’s going to be 6 degrees and RAINY again tomorrow. What is with this winter?!
Somehow Jon and I ended up outside throwing snowballs while our lazy children lounged inside. Something doesn’t seem right.
Juno in the new hand-me-down dress she refuses to take off.
Justus with the very controversial faux hawk. He may or may not have told me after we shaved off the last one to NEVER give him a faux hawk again. I thought enough time may have passed that he forgot his passionate dislike of the hawk and gave him one on saturday night without asking. He was kind of furious when he finally saw it and insisted on wearing a hat at church the next day. I will be shaving it off tonight before he has to face his public tomorrow at Bible study. You win some, you lose some.
